Astrid Beatriz creates vibrant, tactile, original works, portraits, and commisioned pieces.  She has been featured in various publications including Popular Woodworking Magazine and PDX Parent, and her art has shown in multiple exhibitions and art galleries in the greater Portland, Oregon area along with pieces decorating numerous homes and businesses and honoring many people and pets.

She uses a scrollsaw, carving knives, and her own skill, imagination, and experience to create art that has texture and magic that you can actually feel.  Follow our Instagram account to see what she is working on now.

 She currently has pieces on display at Artistic Portland Gallery as part of the gallery co-op, and her art can also be found for sale at various markets.

She has had shows at various cafes in Portland, made many portraits and tributes, and is planning to do lots more.  If you are interested in a piece, contact us.  We can ship domestic or do curbside pickup. If you are interested in a commision, see below. 

If you are interested in commisioning a portrait, e-mail us with a photo(s), the size you are interested in, and Astrid will sketch up a picture.  Once the picture is approved you must place a non-refundable 50% deposit before cutting starts. After that you will recieve updates and once the piece is finished you pay the other 50% (plus shipping if necessary).  Prices start at $200 depending on size and complexity and can take up to six weeks to complete.
